2nd Annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off

Everyone welcome to participate in the competition. 

  • Music begins at 1:30
  • Cook-Off begins at 3:00 PM
  • Food from 1:30 to 5:00 PM

Contestant Information

This year’s competition will be desserts! 

Teams may cook up to three different desserts – creativity is encouraged!

Additionally:

At least one, and up to three, additional dishes of your choice for the people’s choice award. These dishes will be judged by the public with tasting at your cook site after the dessert has been sent to the judges. 

Themes

  • Teams are required to choose a theme for their Dutch Oven Camp, which will also be judged.  i.e. Cowboy, frontier, missionary, Hawaiian, etc.

Rules

  • The competition will be from 3 to 5 PM.
  • Teams may be composed of up to four people. 
  • Only wood or charcoal may be used.  (May be started burning prior to 3PM, if desired.)
  • The order of cook-off will be determined at 1:30 PM.
  • Cooking will begin in 5 minute intervals prior to 3 PM, with all teams cooking by 3. 
  • All teams will have 2 hours to complete and plate their dishes. 
  • Judging will begin at 5:00 PM and winners announced at 5:30 PM. 
  • Registration fee is $35. Registration deadline is September 7.
